01
The short version
The site remembers your cookie preference on your own device so I do not have to ask you on every page.
Google Analytics is optional. If you reject analytics, the Google Analytics tag is not loaded and Phoenix Photography does not send Analytics visit data to Google.
Phoenix Photography does not currently use advertising, remarketing or Meta Pixel tracking on this website.
You can change your choice at any time using .
02
Cookies and browser storage
A cookie is a small piece of information a website or service can ask your browser to store. Browsers also provide other local storage mechanisms that can remember a setting without sending that setting back to the website server with every request.
Phoenix Photography uses local browser storage to remember whether you allowed or rejected optional analytics. That preference stays on your device and is not submitted to Phoenix Photography's server as a client profile.

Browser privacy rules can shorten cookie lifetimes, and Google may change the technical details of its services over time. This notice will be updated if Phoenix Photography adds a new category of tracking or materially changes how the site measures visitors.
04
Google Analytics
If you allow analytics, the site loads Google Analytics 4 using measurement ID G-2CH5G06E0K. Analytics helps me understand general things such as how many people use the site, which pages are visited, and broad device or traffic information so I can improve the website.
Phoenix Photography does not use the website's Google Analytics implementation for advertising or remarketing. Advertising-related consent signals are kept denied in the site's consent configuration.
Google Analytics may receive information such as browser and device details, session information, approximate geographic information, referring pages, pages visited and analytics identifiers when analytics is allowed. More detail appears in the Privacy & POPIA Notice.
05
How consent works on this site
Phoenix Photography uses a conservative, opt-in approach. The Google Analytics tag is blocked until you actively allow analytics. If you reject analytics or make no choice, Analytics does not load.
Your choice is remembered for up to 180 days. After that period, or if you clear your browser storage, the site may ask again. If you later switch analytics off, the site removes the Analytics cookies it can identify and reloads the page so the Analytics tag is no longer present.
06
Other third-party requests
Playfair Display and Montserrat are hosted directly by Phoenix Photography. Loading the website does not require a request to Google Fonts for those font files.
Google Analytics is the main optional third-party service used by this website. It is only loaded after you allow analytics through the cookie preference controls.
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook do not load tracking code from those services merely because this page is opened. Their own privacy rules apply if you choose to follow a link and interact with them.
07
Change your choice
You can review or change your analytics choice at any time on this device.
You can also delete cookies and local storage through your browser settings. Doing that may cause the site to ask for your choice again on a later visit.
